About

My journey with guitar began in high school, when my father taught me my first chords. I was already into the local music scene, so once I had a guitar in my hands I was hooked. That passion led me to pursue formal training, earning my Bachelor of Music degree from the University of West Florida in 2010, studying classical guitar under Dr. Joe Stallings. For four years, I had the honor of playing first chair in the Pensacola Guitar Ensemble, sharpening my technique and deepening my understanding of creating meaningful musical moments.

While in college, I discovered a second passion: teaching. Guiding students through their own musical journey quickly became just as rewarding as performing. Since 2007, I’ve worked with beginners, hobbyists, and experienced players who wanted to refine their craft. My lessons are flexible, personalized, and tailored to your goals—whether that’s learning your first tune or mastering advanced repertoire

Alongside teaching, I’ve spent the last decade and a half performing as a professional classical guitarist for weddings and private events. From ceremony performances and cocktail hours to ambient sets for intimate gatherings, I bring elegance and atmosphere to each gig. My style includes classical staples, jazz standards, and my own arrangements of modern favorites, which I curate to fit the mood.
